Sweet Baby Boy

I'm back with another baby card. I hope everyone has had a chance to enter a card, scrapbook page/LO, or project for this weeks Monday Challenge at My Craft Spot. As always, there is an awesome prize for the winner, so don't wait, you still have time to enter. :)
For the *SWEET BABY BOY* tag I used the
Sweet Sentiments- Set #2 by My Craft Spot. The
ribbon and twine are also by MCS.

Cuts:
  • B is for Boy Cricut Lite cartridge
  • 2 3/4"  Hobby and all layers
  • 1 3/4" Thanks oval tag (used gypsy to *hide* thanks)
  • Standard A2 sized card
I'm currently working on my Mother's Day gifts. :) Did you know National Scrapbook Day is May 7th this year? Mother's Day and NSD in the same weekend--YES! I am already planning my NSD day...are you? I have a few weeks of my Project Life album that I need to finish. I would really like to make a video, but last time I tried, it was like 20 minutes of bloopers. At one point I had to stop filming because I couldn't think of  the word *paper*. My daughter giggling at me in the background, didn't help either. :)

My Craft Spot Monday Challenge #5

Hi everyone! It's time for another Monday Challenge at My Craft Spot. Today's theme is *Bundle of Joy* basically anything to do with babies.  There is an awesome prize for the randomly picked winner of this weeks challenge--5 spools of Bakers Twine! Click here to see the other DT projects for some additional great ideas. Be sure to play along in the challenge and I can't wait to see what everyone creates.

I created a sweet little girl card for this challenge.
I used the Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite cartridge
for this card. The *Hugs & Kisses* sentiment is
from the Sweet Sentiments-Set #2 by My Craft Spot.
The petal pink crinkle ribbon is also by My Craft Spot.
Cuts:
  • Sugar and Spice Cricut Lite cartridge
  • 4"  love shift  base
  • 2 1/2" buggy
  • 1 3/4 " hugs shift base for sentiment
  • 1  1/2" hugs layer
  • Standard A2 sized card
OK, so it's time to create a sweet card and get it linked up here before next Monday.
Have a great week. :)

Bee Happy!

Hi everyone! There is a good reason to be happy and excited today...the members of My Craft Spot's design team are being announced, and guess what, my name is on the list. I am thrilled to be part of such an amazing design team. The design team will be showcasing the new line of high quality photopolymer stamps that Kimberly at My Craft Spot has designed. The stamps are easy to use, stamp with a clean crisp image, and contain perfect sentiments that can be used for several occasions. Also, at My Craft Spot you can also find the prettiest hand dyed crinkle ribbon, and beautiful hand dyed twines. There are weekly challenges every Monday--there is still time to enter this weeks challenge. Please be sure to watch for all of the new exciting things happening over at My Craft Spot.

My card today sums up exactly how I feel--HAPPY!
I used my Gypsy to *hide* the bee's face so I could
stamp a face using my Peachy Keen face stamps-
PK-500 Snow Cuties.  I used my sewing
machine and chocolate twine from MCS. The
stamped sentiment is from MCS stamp set-
Sweet Sentiments Set #2. Standard A2 size card.
Cuts:
  • Give A Hoot cartridge  pg.37
  • 2 3/4"  Bee and all layers
Enjoy the rest of your week. :)
