Ice Cream Sundae Card And Release Party

Ok...I'm back, and it feels great to be blogging again. :) Maddie is all settled in at school and is loving it already. Phew! Megan starts school next week, but before she starts we are going to squeeze in a quick trip to the beach. Guess what happens when I get back...starting Monday the 3rd, My Craft Spot is having another NEW Stamp Release Party. It will be a week long party with daily prizes, sneak peeks of new stamp sets, sneak peeks of a NEW metal dies set, and a grand finale blog hop on Saturday. Today, I also wanted to share a birthday card-

I love how this card turned out. :)The papers are from the Cakewalk
collection by October Afternoon. The *Happy Birthday* sentiment
is from the *Inside & Out set #2.
The sundae is cut from the Birthday Bash cartridge at 4". 

I tied a spring green Traditional Bakers twine bow.

I added 2 layers of glossy accents-- it looks amazing. The three
enamel dots are from My Mind's Eye.

Monday Challenge #67-Splishy Splashy Summer

Hi everyone! Welcome back! I hope ALL of you are still enjoying summer. We have been busy getting  Maddie ready for college. Maddie moves into her dorm next week and then classes start the following Monday. It's been sort of an emotional week-a few tears. She's our first little bird to leave the nest--we are SO proud of our Maddie. :)

Today is Monday and that means it's challenge time at the My Craft Spot blog. Today's challenge is all about splashy splashy summer. 

I chose to make another "Samantha" card.
Samantha the mermaid. The *Happy Birthday*
sentiment is from the Birthday Wishes stamp set.
I cut the mermaid from the *Once upon a princess*
cartridge cut at 3.25"

The *Wish Big* is from the Tiny Tags stamp
set by My Craft Spot.

I framed the sentiment with some small pearls.
