Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! I want to wish all of you a fun and safe Halloween. My fingers are crossed that the weather cooperates (for everyone)! I made one last Halloween card--just for all of you. :)
This cute little bat is from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge cut at 2.30".
I cut three of the same bat, one in purple, black dots. and just black. I cut the
wings off the purple and black dots bat and then glued them all back together
on the solid black bat with the color combination the way I have pictured here.
There wasn't a layering option so I made my own. :) The card base
is from the Life's A Party cartridge cut at 4.65". The yellow moon is from
Life's A Party cartridge cut at 4.30", found on the same page as the card base.

For the bat's cute face I used Peachy Keen's Snow Cuties, and just used
scissors to cut my own fangs-super easy.
This great sentiment is from Best Witches To You stamp set
by My Craft Spot.
You just knew I was going to make my little bat fly. :)
Be sure to check back tomorrow for a special treat from me to you! :)

Monday Challenge-#75 Too Cute To Spook

Hi everyone! Today's Monday challenge at My Craft Spot is *Too Cute To Spook*. Make a cute Halloween project-easy peasy. If your like me this challenge comes at a great time for my last minute *treats* that I know I want to give. Here is my little treatster:
I'm sure by now you all know I love the bags Kimberly carries at
My Craft Spot. They are so handy and come in such cute colors and
patterns. A perfect holder for a monster sized cookie. :) I used the *Tiny Doilies*
metal dies for my tag and *No Tricks just Treats* is from the Best  Witches To You
stamp set by My Craft Spot. The *Brewing up some fun*
sentiment is from the Ghostly Greetings stamp set.
Have you tried the new ribbons yet? You should. :)
The sheer black ribbon I used
is nice to work with and really holds a tight bow. The
little spider is from the Doodlebug Charms cartridge. The
cookie is from Starbucks.
This frame is from the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge. The little
spider is from the *Stampin' Around Fall* stamp set. The tumbler
is from Starbucks.
It's kind of hard to tell in this picture, but the white layer is cut out
of glitter paper. The *Tiny Doilies* cut through the glitter paper
just fine. I did run the die and glitter paper sandwich
back and forth a couple of times to make sure
I would have a nice clean cut.
Would any cute Halloween project be complete without a little
wobble to it? I cut this spider from the Doodlebug Cricut
cartridge at 2.5".
I hope you join is this week's fun challenge at My Craft Spot.

Monday Challenge-#73 Emboss It

Happy Monday everyone! Today's challenge at My Craft Spot blog is *emboss it*. Use either dry or wet embossing on your project. For my card today, I used both types of embossing.
The *Happy Halloween* sentiment is from the *Ghostly Greetings*
stamp set by My Craft Spot. The witch is from the Mini Monsters
cartridge cut at 3.86". The banner is from the Martha Stewart Birthday
Cake Art cartridge cut at 1.00". The *Oct. 31* is also from the
*Ghostly Greetings* stamp set. The tag is a cut from the *Tiny Doilies*
metal dies set. I used a chevron embossing folder for some texture.
Another awesome sentiment from the *Ghostly Greetings*
stamp set.
Be sure to link up your embossed project HERE for a chance to win an incredible prize at My Craft Spot blog. I look forward to seeing all of your wonderful projects.

Blueberries

Hi everyone! Today I'm lucky enough to be able to share a post over at My Craft Spot blog.  I created a set of a set of thank you cards. You can never have too many thank you cards on hand. :)
The blueberries are cut from the Preserves cartridge cut at  2.25".
I tied a beautiful gingerbread cookies crinkle ribbon bow. Lots of
glossy accents make these blueberries look good enough to eat.

*Thank you!* is from the Thank You stamp set by
My Craft Spot. I love the font used on this sentment.

I used Lavender 6X6 paper pad by My Minds Eye for my
background papers. I stitched a border with my sewing machine.
I changed up the background papers to make an assortment of
cards. I also inked the edges.
I hope you feel inspired to use your My Craft Spot stamps to create a set of cards today. :)

Monday Challenge-#72 A Treat For You!

Hi everyone! It's Monday and there is a new challenge over at My Craft Spot blog. This week's challenge is *A treat for you*. Time to create a project that will go with the gift of food. Yum!
The pillow box is my favorite *packaging* cut from the Cricut.
This pillow box is from the Wrap It Up cartridge sized with my
Gypsy at H:5.60 W:4.87. I hid the diploma with the
hide feature. At this size you can fit 4 pillow boxes on one sheet of
12X12 piece of paper. The spider is from the *Stampin' Around Fall*
stamp set by My Craft Spot. The 2 doilies are cut using the
*Tiny Doilies* metal dies. *Bugs & Hisses* is from the *Spooky Treats*
stamp set. I hand cut the green strip.
My little treat box needed a treat, so I made some cute labels for my
chocolate Kisses. I stamped the spider with the same spider I used
for the tag on the front of my box.
The Kisses went together really fast. The circle was an extra cut
one of the metal dies makes when you are cutting rings for the
*Stampin' Around Fall* sentiments. I stuck the purple circle to
the bottom of the Kisses using a glue dot.
This is the actual die I used from the *Tiny Doilies* metal dies set.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing all of your treat projects. :)

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone! Today is my day at My Craft Spot blog to post, and I'm so excited to share.  I love cupcakes and thought this cupcake would be perfect for a set of *sweet* birthday cards. These cards will be nice to either have on hand or give as a gift.
The*4 You* is from the Tiny Tags  stamp set by My Craft Spot.
The tag is cut from the Tiny Tags metal dies set. I tied my cute tag
with some spring green Traditional bakers twine.
I stamped *Sweet Birhday wishes* from the Birthday Wishes set.
The cupcake is from the Create a Criter cartridge cut at 3.35"
and fits perfectly on a 5X5 card base. I chose a bright red
paper for the cherry and glossy accented it up for a realistic looking
marschino cherry. Yum! I also popped the cupcake up with
deminsionals and rounded the corners with a 1/2 inch corner rounder.
I used Papertrey Ink cardstock for my papers. I'm REALLY liking the
Aqua Mist-Sweet Blush paper combination. The Aqua Mist color I used for the
cupcake wrapper and the Sweet Blush was used for the background. One of my
new favorites are the Enamel Dots by My Minds Eye. They're colorful and don't
*stick up* like brads--plus you don't have to mess with a shank.
I hope you enjoyed this set of birthday cards. Enjoy the rest of your week. :)

Monday Challenge-#72 Boo To You

Happy Monday! Hopefully you all had a wonderful weekend. Our daughter, Madeline, surprised us with a visit home from college. It was great spending some time with her-the time went SO fast!!

Today marks the 1st of October. Already?? I hope that I'll be able to start decorating the house this week for Halloween-we'll see. :) What a better way to start to kick off the Halloween season, than with a *Boo To You* challenge over at My Craft Spot blog.
Can I just say one more time how much I love the last stamp
release. OK, I love them all, but I have really
been having fun with this last release.
The ghost is from the Simply Charmed cartridge cut at 3.12".
The face is stamped with a cute Peachy Keen
Monster Mash Face . I added a Sky Trendy Twine bow.
The *Boooo to You* and the cute little spider are from the
Stampin' Around Fall stamp set by My Craft Spot.
I also used the Tiny Doilies metal dies-LOVE!
Have you used the new metal dies yet? They are
so fun and easy to use!
For a fun touch I added a wobble to my little ghost.
Kimberly has an awesome video on how to make wobbles.
You can see it HERE.
*Have a Hauntingly delightful Halloween* is from the
Ghostly Greetings stamp set by My Craft Spot.
I hope you will all get a chance to enter the *Boo To You* challenge. Be sure to link your project over at My Craft Spot blog.I am excited to see what everyone creates. :)
