MCS Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! It's Blog Hop time! Finally!! :)

Let's get straight to my project!

I made a Christmas decor project using My Craft Spot products.

I cut all of my different cards with the journaling die from the Scrapping Life Cards metal dies set. I stamped the Chalkboard sentiment with a stamp from the Christmas Chalkboard stamp set. I added some red sequins from the Berry Red sequins. The little candy canes are from the Jingle All The Way stamp set.

The NOEL is a SVG cut file by My Craft Spot. I cut a little polaroid for my deer with a die from the Scrapping Life Cards metal dies set. *Be Merry* is a new stamp from the Merry & Bright stamp set. *25th* is a stamp from the Naughty or Nice stamp set.

*It's the most Wonderful time of the year* is a sentiment from the new Christmas Chalkboard stamp set. I had to add some snowflakes cut from the Snowflake Border metal dies set.

I decorated my tree with Berry Red sequins.

This ornament is also a new SVG cut file by My Craft Spot. *Christmas Joy* is a stamp from the Merry & Bright stamp set. I topped my ornament with a bow cut from the 

Bow-Small metal dies set.

Of course, I had to add some of my favorite felt roses cut from the Flowers-Rolled Roses metal dies set. The *Merry Christmas* is a sentiment from the Merry & Bright stamp set.

*Dear Santa* is a sentiment from the Naughty or Nice stamp set.

After Christmas I'll have several fun cards for my scrapbook already done. :)

MCS New Stamp Release Party Day #5- Merry & Bright

Hi Everyone! Welcome to day five of My Craft Spot's New Stamp Release Party! This week has been so fun! Tomorrow is the day you have all been waiting for, when all the stamp sets will be released and available for purchase! 

So exciting!! 

Today we are sharing a sneak peek of the new stamp set *Merry & Bright*. Lot's of versatility with this new set. Wonderful sentiments that are sure to make your holiday projects special. 

Here is my project:

I love how this card turned out. As you can probably tell, I'm hooked on the red & aqua color combination for this year's Christmas holiday projects. :) I saw a tutorial on tinting clear acetate with Copic markers-I thought it would be the perfect technique for creating the blue/aqua colored Ball glass jars that I love so much. For this project I used the SU Blendabilities markers-Coastal Cabana. Basically I colored the clear acetate with my marker, made sure it was dry, and then cut out the jar shape from the Jar Basics Metal Die set. Now you can see the flower stems through the jar. I stamped my *Merry Christmas* sentiment from the new *Merry & Bright* stamp set on a tag cut from the Ornate Labels Metal Die set.

I fussy cut flowers that were stamped from the Jar Full Of Flowers stamp set. The red border surrounding my sentiment is from the Ornate Labels-Christmas stamp set. The tied a Solid Red twine bow around the top of the jar. The scalloped trim was cut from one of the Fancy Edges Metal Die set.

I cut the black chalkboard piece with the journaling die from the Scrapping Life Cards metal die set. The felt roses were made using the Flowers-Rolled Roses metal die set. The leaves to my roses were cut with the Flowers-Daisy metal dies set.

MCS Stamp Release Party Day #3- Tiny Tags Christmas

Hi Everyone! Welcome to day three of My Craft Spot's New Stamp Release Party! Today we are sharing sneak peeks of the new stamp set *Tiny Tags Christmas*. This new set was designed to coordinate with the Tiny Tags Metal Die set. Paired with the Tiny Tags metal dies set, your sentiments will fit the tags perfectly. There is a sentiment for all of your holiday cards and gifts in this new stamp set! 

Here is my project:

I wanted to make a couple of *Secret Santa* gifts for my friend to give out to her coworkers during the holidays, and the new Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set finished off my gift perfectly. *From the North Pole* is a sentiment from the new stamp set *Tiny Tags Christmas*. This new set will be available for purchase this Saturday at My Craft Spot's online store.

I added my tag with some new Red Twist twine. This super cute twine is now available at My Craft Spot's online store. Did I mention the new twine comes on a wooden spool?! No more twine tangles. :)

The Santa is THIS Santa from My Scrap Chick. I found the jar at Michaels, and it comes with the lid already painted red. I bought the jar on sale for $1.49.

The tag was made using the Tiny Doilies metal dies set by My Craft Spot. I decorated my tree using Tickled Pink, Caribbean, and Lemon Meringue sequins.

*Special Delivery just for you* is a sentiment from the new stamp set *Naughty or Nice?*. I used the Fancy Edges metal dies for the scalloped trim. I added some white sequins from the Tuxedo sequin pack for some of *Santa's magic* across the sky. :) I used THIS SVG for Santa and sleigh silhouette.
