Sneak Peek Day #1

Happy Halloween and welcome to day one of My Craft Spot's NEW stamp release party. All of the new sets will be available for purchase on Saturday, the day of our blog hop. Today,I am SO excited to be sharing a sneak peek of the new stamp set, Jingle All The Way.
I started with a 5x5 card base. I used Pure Poppy Cardstock by
PTI. The scalloped layer and square are from the Winter Woodland
cartridge cut at 4 3/4 ". The cupcake and layers are from the
Sweet Treats cartridge cut at 3 1/4". The cute twine color is
Maraschino. I used red Stickles and glossy accents
on the heart. Added a little stitching with my sewing machine
with white thread.
Here is a picture of the sentiment from the new stamp
set, Jingle All The Way by Kimberly at My Craft Spot. Isn't
just the sweetest! The whole set is truly amazing.
I hope you've had a chance to see all of the other design team member's projects. Lots of great inspiration!

Quick Halloween Tags

I hope everyone is enjoying their week. We've been busy with school, field trips, and halloween prep. I needed to make some tags for hostess treats. The tags were pretty quick and really fun to make. I usually try to make crafty things assembly line style while watching a movie. I added my first tag to a bag of chocolates, but I will use most of them for cookies on little black plates. Here are my tags...
I used Plantin SchoolBook cartridge for the tag
cut 4 1/4". The frames were cut from the Happy Hauntings cart
at few different sizes. The ghost frame was cut at 3 1/4", the witch
frame was cut at 3 1/4, the cat frame was cut at
3 1/4", and the vampire is cut at 3". The *B00* *EEK*
*Spooky**Beware!* and *Happy Halloween* sentiments
are from the Happy Hauntings set by My Craft Spot.
I added glossy accents to all of the silhouettes. I inked the tags
up a little with black ink. My favorite tags is the one with the red
vampire and the drippy red *Happy Halloween*. I really love this stamp set.
The best part about making tags is using scraps. Tip: I usually set my
pressure and blade on medium with the multi cut on. Using the multi cut
really helps cut all of the little pieces on the frame. Anther tip: if you
have a Gypsy *hide* the hole at the top if you want to use an eyelet. The
hole the machine will automatically cut is pretty big and hard to center an eyelet.
I still have a couple more treatsters to share tomorrow. :)

Bunco Treats

Hi everyone! I want to share some cute treats I made for the gals in my Bunco group. I found these cute bags at a Packaging Specialties-a store near where I live with cute fun packaging supplies. The little treat bags are quick and cute to make.
I used a circle punch for the moon and the witch came from
the Martha Stewart seasonal cake cartridge. The *Party*
sentiment is from the Candy Corn Kisses set by
My Craft Spot. The crinkle ribbon is smokey black
and the twine is black licorice, also by My Craft Spot.
I filled my little bags with chocolaty treats.
I also filled some little bags with Sixlets
chocolates, that I found at Joann's. I think
I found these bags at Clearbags.com. I've
had them for awhile. The toppers are made
with punches and the witch is from
the Seasonal Cake cartridge.

I still have more to share tomorrow. :) Did you all get a chance to check out all of the great ideas from challenge #31at My Craft Spot? Be sure to mark your calendars for next weeks big stamp release party
. You WON'T want to miss any of it. :)

My Craft Spot Challenge #31 -See Through Projects

Hi everyone! It's Monday, and that means it's challenge time over at the My Craft Spot blog. This week's challenge is to create something using a clear product, like acetate. I was so excited about this challenge because I have had a pack of Clearly Creative Cardstock from PaperTrey Ink that I have been waiting to use.
I used the *TOO cute To Spook!*sentiment from the
Candy Corn Kisses set. The tree and bat are cut from
the Simply Charmed cartridge at 3 1/4. The overall card is
5X5. The clear cardstock is heavy weight, so it's easy
to cut, score, and fold.
I love how the inner layer shows through.
The *Happy Halloween* sentiment is from the
Happy Hauntings set.
Be sure to enter your project for a chance to win this week's prize, the Friends & Neighbor's-Inside & Out set. Great set! Also, check out all of the other DT projects-HERE
I have tons to share this week, so I'll see you back here tomorrow. :) Have a great day!
