Teacher Gift

Hello! Today is my day to share over at My Craft Spot blog. I needed to make something special for Sammy's Pre-School teachers. I made a gift holder out of a craft lunch bag from Michaels and My Craft Spot stamps.
This gift holder came together so nice and quick. I stamped my tag on a chalkboard clothespin from Pick Your Plum. *Just for you* is a sentiment from the Jar Basics stamp set.
I printed the teacher's names on red paper, stamped the apple from the Jar Full Of Fall stamp set over the top of the name, and then paper pieced the apple together.
For extra cuteness I cut a scalloped trim on the top of the bag using a die from the Fancy Edges metal dies set.

I posted this card a while ago, but I still had to share the card Sammy included with her teacher gifts. Of course, *Best Teacher EVER* is a perfect sentiment for the wonderful teachers we were blessed to have.
Did you notice the cute torn paper edge? I used a metal die from the Fancy Edges set by My Craft Spot
I hope you enjoyed today's project and thanks for visiting!

Wedding Cards

Hello! This week's challenge at My Craft Spot is *Wedding*. On my last trip to Joann's I found the prettiest paper pack from DCWV called Coral Couture. Several of the papers have touches of gold foil and glitter--perfect for wedding cards.
These wedding cards are so pretty and easy to make. I fussy cut a 5"X5" square from the part of the background paper that included the bird. I like a bigger size for wedding cards, although I think you'll have to pay more for postage. I used the Tiny Doilies 2 metal dies set to create my tag. I heat embossed *Best Wishes* from the Happily Ever After stamp set by My Craft Spot

*So happy for you!* is another sentiment from the Happily Ever After stamp set.
The pearls look so pretty under the beautiful tag.
I made a bow using Vanilla Bean crinkle ribbon. Here is a good picture of the gold foiled bird-so pretty!
I LOVE using the metal dies when creating cards. I created the beautiful trim along the bottom strip of paper with the Fancy Edges metal dies set. My Craft Spot Shop has a wonderful selection of metal dies. I can easily create beautiful cards just using My Craft Spot stamp and metal die sets.
I hope you'll get a chance to join in the fun with this week's challenge over at My Craft Spot blog.

Graduation Card

Hello! Today is my day to share some inspiration over at My Craft Spot Blog. My Craft Spot products made it easy for me to create a graduation card for my friend's son, Spencer, who will be graduating from High School this June.
I cut the *Congrats* from the Big Words metal dies set. The silver foiled cardstock I used for the *Congrats*, looks awesome! It was easy to personalize my card with jute that matched the school colors. Did you know My Craft Spot Shop carries 17 different colors of jute?!
I stamped *Start each day with the Thought that something Wonderful is about to Happen* is from the Chalkboard Sentiments stamp set. Such a great message!

This week's challenge at My Craft Spot is *Congrats & Grads* and you still have time to participate. :)

My Craft Spot-Washi Tape Metal Dies

Hello! Welcome back to day 2 of My Craft Spot's Mini Release Party. Today we are sharing ideas of projects made with the new Washi Tape metal dies set. There are 3 different sized metal dies of washi strips that come with this set. The set is NOW available for purchase at My Craft Spot Shop.
For my first project I made a quick spring card. The yellow paper was cut with the Washi Tape metal dies. I love the look of this fun card. The washi strips are a great size for most of My Craft Spot's stamp sentiments. The bicycle is from the Spring Showers Cricut cartridge.

For my next project, I made a milk carton treat holder for Teacher Appreciation Day coming up next week. I cut a strip of notebook paper with the Washi Tape metal dies for the sentiment. *For all you do* is from the Thank You set. I added a tag made with the Tiny Doilies metal dies set. *Thank you Teacher* was stamped with the Stamping All Around Fall stamp set. Of course I had to add a paper flower made with the Rolled Flowers metal die set.

What's a party without presents? There will be a prizes offered at My Craft Spot's blog both days. Kimberly will also be picking a winner from one of the Design Team member's blogs as well. :)

Also, Kimberly will be picking a winner both days from customer orders for a $20.00 gift certificate.
