Monday Challenge-Sew Fun

It's Monday and that means it's challenge time at My Craft Spot. This weeks challenge is *sew fun*.  I love adding a *stitched* border to my cards. I really want to add more pen work/stitching to my cards. I guess I am nervous about starting and stoping points. I NEED to get over it because pen work makes things adorable.
I added stitching with black pen, and my sewing
machine. The stamped sentiment is from the newly
released Happy Haunting set by My Craft Spot. I also
tied a side bow with orange licorice twine. I added
glossy accents to the eyes and teeth of my little
pumpkin guy.

Cuts
  • Mini Monsters cartridge pg. 59
  • 2" Jackoltrn
  • Standard A2 sized card-cardstock from PTI
Don't forget tomorrow is the big day--the winners of the blog hop drawings will be drawn tomorrow morning. I'll see you tomorrow. :)

Welcome...

Today is my day to share a project made with one of the new stamps from the stamp set-- Friends & Neighbors. There are so many great sentiments in this set! We recently had some new neighbors move into the neighborhood and now I have the cutest tag for my bread (that I bought), with the cutest sentiment! The neighbors are sure to feel welcome now. :)
The sentiment is from the Friends & Neighbors set--available this Friday for purchase HERE
I used scarlet red crinkle ribbon and a little glossy accents on the heart.

Cuts:
  • Create a Critter cartridge pg. 28
  • 2 1/4" Accessory (house)
  • CAC pg. 36
  • 3"Accessory (heart)
This would be a great tag to have on hand--I'll just change the sentiment and curtains to fit the occasion. Be sure to check out everyone's sneak peek and then hop over to the My Craft Spot blog to leave your comment for a chance to win an awesome prize. :)

Monday Challenge-Thinking Of You

It's a beautiful day! I love it! It's also Monday, and that means it's challenge time over at My Craft Spot. YEAH! This weeks challenge is *you make me smile*. I made a card for my husband to remind him we love, and are always thinking about him :)
I used my new Paper Lace cartridge for my photo
mat. The *Thinking of you* sentiment sums up
my daughter's feelings exactly. :)  Of course
My Craft Spot's vintage twine adds that perfect touch.  The
paper is from My Minds Eye, Hattie Stella Rose 6x6 paper
pad. I added stitching and dark brow pearls that look
almost copper. The enchanted evening(dark blue)
cardstock is from PaperTrey ink.
I hope you all join in this weeks challenge. The prize this week for one lucky winner, is some yummy traditional bakers twine-a staple for any crafters stash. :) After you make your card or project for that special someone-be sure to link it up HERE.
