Hippity Hoppity Treat Holders

Hi everyone! Today is my day to share over at My Craft Spot blog. Here are some cute treat holders--perfect for Easter. I made these little cuties, especially for Sammy's teachers. :)

*Hippity, hoppity, Easter's on its way!* is from the Happy Easter stamp set by My Craft Spot. I tied a bow with some sunshine yellow crinkle ribbon for that great pop of color.
The frog is from the Create A Critter cartridge cut at 1.75". The ears are from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge cut at 1.82". The boxes were from the Slumber Party cut at 2.75". The white layer was also cut at 2.75". This is a great size for treat containers.
I hot glued an action wobble to my little *bunny*. Hot glue helps keep everything attached--for lots of hopping.

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Are you ready for Easter? If not, you better hop to it! :)

Monday Challenge #92- Strings & Things

Hi everyone! Today's challenge over at My Craft Spot's blog is *strings & things*. Add a little twine, jute, or ribbon to your project. Here is my project:
I made some pillow box favors for everyone coming to Easter brunch. I thought they would look cute by each place setting on the table. I used the *Lacy Banners* metal dies for the pink layer and embossed them for extra texture. I used the Tim Holtz die for the rosette. I added some silver stickles to the edge of the rosette for a little sparkle. I tied a posy colored bow around the bunny's  neck. So sweet.:)
The tag was made using the *Tiny Tags* metal dies from My Craft Spot. The *Sweet Treats* is from the Best Witches To You stamp set by My Craft Spot. The chocolate bunny is from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge cut at 2.25". The pillow box was cut from the Wrap It Up cartridge cut at 5.60". I was able to cut out 4 boxes on my 12X12 cutting mat at once.
The box holds about 4 or 5 chocolate eggs.
I hope you'll join in on the all of the fun during this week's challenge at My Craft Spot. Have a great week!

Monday Challenge #91-Embossing

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I've been able to post. I've really missed sharing craft projects with all of you and looking at all of your creative posts. Life as been so busy!! Good news is my husband, Jim, will be home from working in Alaska soon, and that means lots of free time for crafting! I did make a project for this weeks challenge over at My Craft Spot's blog. I needed a thank you card for my wonderful sister-in-law, who puts on the best Easter brunch. Now, I have a beautiful card already to go.

I love the soft colors and the vintage feel. I created an egg shaped card using the egg from the Doodlecharms cartridge. The blue egg layer is from the same cartridge cut at 12.25". I cut the egg out of some Core'dinations cardstock. I embossed the egg using the Floral Fantasy embossing folder. I sanded the embossed pattern for a distressed look.
I made a tag using My Craft Spot's *Tiny Tags* metal dies. The *You're Eggs-tra special* is from the *Happy Easter* stamp set by My Craft Spot. I added a ruffled edge of *Vintage Vanilla* crinkle ribbon to my card. Kimberly's ribbon is just beautiful, and adds so much to projects. I love using it!

I hope you get a chance to join in on this weeks challenge over at My Craft Spot. :) Have a great day!
