New Stamp Release Day 4-Bundle Of Joy

Welcome back to day 4 of the My Craft Spot stamp release party. This week has been so fun and it's not even over yet! Today we are sharing a sneak peek of the new stamp set *Bundle Of Joy*. This set is ADORABLE!

*Precious little one* from the new stamp set *Bundle Of Joy*.
The postage style layer is from the cartridge Elegant Edges. The
I tied a bow of snow white crinkle ribbon. You can't tell in the picture,
but the ribbon has the prettiest sparkle to it-I love it! I also attached
the buttons with sky and posy colored twine. I used the Teresa Collins
Sweet Afternoon 6x6 paper pad. Really Pretty papers.

You're Dino-mite!

Back today with another little valentine card idea. I love making little valentine's. I think it's the square shape. Plus, I always try to make them as close to 4x4", so I can make quite a few from a 12x12" piece of paper. I've been making these different *samples* for Sammy to pick out which one she wants to use for her preschool class. I'll need to find out if she can add a little treat or not. If she can, I'm leaning towards an idea that includes pink heart marshmallows and frogs. :)

I really like this one. I cut the card base on page 40 from the Elegant Edges
cartridge. The dinosaur is from the Create A Critter cartridge, cut at 2.75".
 The *word blurb* is the phrase feature on page 28 of Create A Critter.
 I used my cricut markers and set the size at 1.25". *You're Dino-mite*
is from the *Build a Valentine* set by My Craft Spot.

I popped up my little dino for added dimension. Let's
say you didn't add the heart-you could easily make this
into a birthday card. Just add it to a folded A2 card base.
For ALL of my valentines I make them postcard style.
I put the *To From* and any written message on the back. 

Tip: If you're new to adding Peachy Keen eyes to project, I thought
I would share how I do it. First, I use my Gypsy to *hide* the eye cut
or any other part of the face I want to stamp. I cut the layer that included the eye
cut for the dinosaur for a template. I layer that over the layer I actually
want to stamp, mark a dot with my pencil, and use the mark as a
guide for my *eye* placement.

I like to use the PK-760 Super Simple Eyes and Noses.
The eyes are really easy. I ink up one eye with Momento
black ink. Perfect for when you aren't wanting eyelashes
or eyebrows. Plus you can add the *highlight* anywhere
you want.

After I stamp the eye I go back with my white Signo
pen for the *highlight*. The final step is glossy accents.
Typed out it may seem like a lot of work, but it really isn't.

Bit By The Love Bug

I have another little set of valentines to share with you today. I've never made this little bug from Create a Critter, but I'm so glad I did. I thought it had several layers, but it only has four including the little heart. I used another cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge for the shaped card base. I added twine to the heart cut, which I show how below.

The *Love Bug* sentiment is perfect for this card and is from the
*Build a Valentine* set by My Craft Spot. I've used this set a lot!
I cut the card base from the Elegant Edges cartridge at 3.75" and
the little bug is from the Create a Critter cartridge cut at 2.75" I did
use my Gypsy to *hide* the bug face, so I could stamp a cute
little Peachy Keen face with some personality. :)

I used stone colored twine for the heart. 

The first thing I did was add red tacky tape to the back of the heart.
Be sure to leave the adhesive backing in place.

The next step is to turn the card over, start in the bottom corner
of the heart with your twine, following the heart shape, around
and around you'll go until you end up in the center of the heart.
Snip the twine as close to the heart as you can and push the end
of twine into the red tape. I used my pencil to help guild the twine
around the heart and then to tuck the end into the tape. Super easy!

Here is what it will look like when you are done.
It won't take long at all. I will be making cards with twine
shapes in the future! I might recommend stamping your sentiment first.

Here I used maraschino colored twine. I also added some
glossy accents for the heart. A little chalk for the checks
and she's good to go.

New Valentines Stamp Release

Hi everyone, I'm so excited to share 5 fun projects I've made using the cute new stamp sets, Always and Forever and Build a Valentine by My Craft Spot.

For my first project I used my Imagine machine and printable vinyl.  I printed, kiss cut a 3/4" circle, and then stamped my sentiment using the new stamp set *Build a Valentine*. I even used sentiments from other sets, like *sweet* for my *sweet heart*.The printable vinyl was very easy to work with and stamp on. I used my Gypsy to design the window for my pillow boxes. The pillow boxes are from the Wrap It Up cartridge, cut at 5.60". The window cut is from Winter Frolic cartridge cut at 1.30". It's nice because at this size you can cut four pillow boxes from one piece of 12x12 paper.

The *Hugs and Kisses* sentiment is from the *Sweet Sentiments #2* stamp set. The scalloped circle, which I use a lot, is from the Sugar and Spice cartridge The inner circle is cut at 1 3/4" and the scallop is cut at 1 1/2".

This is a picture of the vinyl when it comes out of the Imagine machine.  If you don't have an Imagine machine yet, you can use a full sheet sticker label, sold at office supply stores, print some cute printable   pattern paper, stamp your sentiment, and then punch with a 3/4" punch. Lettering Delights is a good source for your printable paper.

For this card I used the *Build A Valentine* stamp set.  I took this picture of my husband and my daughter last summer in Ocean Shores, WA. I'm glad, because it made a sweet card for my daughter to send her dad for Valentine's Day. 

*My Favorite Place Is Inside Your Hug* is from the *Always and Forever* stamp set- a perfect sentiment for this card. The stitching I added with my sewing machine really adds a nice touch. 

I made a set of little Valentines perfect for a class Valentine's Day party exchange.  The *Bee Mine* sentiment is from the *Build A Valentine* stamp set. The little bee is from the Give a Hoot cartridge, cut at 2.5". The card base is from the Elegant Edges cartridge, book feature, cut at 4x4". I used the new Valentine twist twine for the bee trail.

This cute little set of owl valentines is also from the Elegant Edges cartridge, cut at 3.75". The *Happy Valentine's Day!* sentiment is from the *Build a Valentine* stamp set.The owl is from the Create a Critter cartridge. The cute valentine paper is from Pebbles "With Love" collection. 

I used my Gypsy's hide contour feature to "hide" the eyes so I could stamp Peachy Keen eyes onto this adorable owl. 

"You're Out of This World" is from the *Build a Valentine* stamp set.  The space ship is from the Just Because Cards cartridge. The card base is a cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge. I used the "Boyfriend" mini deck paper from Cosmo Cricket.
