Monday Challenge #92- Strings & Things

Hi everyone! Today's challenge over at My Craft Spot's blog is *strings & things*. Add a little twine, jute, or ribbon to your project. Here is my project:
I made some pillow box favors for everyone coming to Easter brunch. I thought they would look cute by each place setting on the table. I used the *Lacy Banners* metal dies for the pink layer and embossed them for extra texture. I used the Tim Holtz die for the rosette. I added some silver stickles to the edge of the rosette for a little sparkle. I tied a posy colored bow around the bunny's  neck. So sweet.:)
The tag was made using the *Tiny Tags* metal dies from My Craft Spot. The *Sweet Treats* is from the Best Witches To You stamp set by My Craft Spot. The chocolate bunny is from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge cut at 2.25". The pillow box was cut from the Wrap It Up cartridge cut at 5.60". I was able to cut out 4 boxes on my 12X12 cutting mat at once.
The box holds about 4 or 5 chocolate eggs.
I hope you'll join in on the all of the fun during this week's challenge at My Craft Spot. Have a great week!

Monday Challenge-#72 A Treat For You!

Hi everyone! It's Monday and there is a new challenge over at My Craft Spot blog. This week's challenge is *A treat for you*. Time to create a project that will go with the gift of food. Yum!
The pillow box is my favorite *packaging* cut from the Cricut.
This pillow box is from the Wrap It Up cartridge sized with my
Gypsy at H:5.60 W:4.87. I hid the diploma with the
hide feature. At this size you can fit 4 pillow boxes on one sheet of
12X12 piece of paper. The spider is from the *Stampin' Around Fall*
stamp set by My Craft Spot. The 2 doilies are cut using the
*Tiny Doilies* metal dies. *Bugs & Hisses* is from the *Spooky Treats*
stamp set. I hand cut the green strip.
My little treat box needed a treat, so I made some cute labels for my
chocolate Kisses. I stamped the spider with the same spider I used
for the tag on the front of my box.
The Kisses went together really fast. The circle was an extra cut
one of the metal dies makes when you are cutting rings for the
*Stampin' Around Fall* sentiments. I stuck the purple circle to
the bottom of the Kisses using a glue dot.
This is the actual die I used from the *Tiny Doilies* metal dies set.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing all of your treat projects. :)

Tiny Tags

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! :) Now, during the stamp release party last week I missed the *Tiny Tags* release day, so today I am sharing my project. I've been busy getting ready for my oldest daughter, Madeline's, graduation. I wanted to make some graduation gift/money holders for some of her dear friends.
I made candy bouquets. I am totally happy with
how these turned out. First, I started out with
Maddie's high school colors, green and blue. I
made a pocket/holder out of the blue and white
*bigger bitty bags* I folded the bag in half
and then stitched the sides together with my sewing machine.

I filled it with candies that color coordinate. I also
included a picture of Maddie, so she could write a message on the
back for her friend. These pockets hold A LOT.
The cap is from the Wrap It Up cartridge on pg. 67
cut at 1.90". The award is from the Plantin Schoolhouse
cartridge on pg. 77 cut at 1.75"(roly poly). The inner circle is from PS

cartridge on pg. 72 cut at 1".The *wishing you luck!
is from the *Tiny Tags* stamp set by My Craft Spot. I added
some diamond glaze to the numbers and tassel. I

needed a simple design that I could easily recreate.
I made a pocket to hold a money gift. I used
the stars from the *Merry Christmas* stamp
set by My Craft Spot. *Celebrate* is from the

Celebrations cartridge cut at 3.55Wx1.50H. I sized
the cut with my Gypsy.
*Way to go Graduate* another great sentiment from *Tiny Tags* set.
I tied the tag on with *pea pod* twine. It's always fun to personalize

with a name.

Is any candy bouquet complete without a chocolate
mustache?
I have a special graduation post coming soon. I would love to hear any suggestions. :)

Sneak Peek Day #3-'Tis The Season

Welcome to day #3 of My Craft Spot's Stamp Release Party. Today we are sharing a little peek of the new stamp set
* 'Tis the Season*. Based on the title alone- you know your going to love it! :)
*Santa Claus is comin' to town!* from the new stamp set
*'Tis the Season* by My Craft Spot. So fun, right! The
house is from the Wrap It Up cartridge, cut at 5 1/2". (I positioned
the house roof where I wanted and just cut the rest off with my
paper trimmer.) Santa is from the Simply Charmed cartridge, cut
at 2 1/2". The chimney is from the same cartridge, cut at 2".
Of course I used a cute little Peachy Keen face stamp for Santa.
Polar white flower soft for the snow and Stickles for the
frosty snow on the chimney. I wrapped all this goodness up
with a maraschino colored twine bow. :)
*Merry Christmas* another stamp from the new set
