Monday Challenge #54-Mother's Day

Hi everyone! Hopefully spring has sprung where you live and you've been enjoying some warmer weather. It's raining here now, but hopefully it will clear up by the afternoon. Fingers crossed. Well, it's Monday and that means it's challenge time over at My Craft Spot blog. Today's theme is *Mother's Day*. This was a great challenge for me since I needed to make both my Mother-In-Law and my Grandma, Mother's Day cards. Here are my cards:
*Love you!* is from the *Sweet Sentiments 1* set by My Craft Spot.
The font matches the *Happy Mother's Day* sentiment. The papers
I used are from the EP Springtime 6x6 paper pad.

I cut the flower from the Flower Shoppe cartridge at
2 1/2 and 2 1/4. The rosette is from the Tim Holtz
rosette die. The heart is from a SU punch.
A little stitching with my sewing machine for the finishing touch.

Oh, and some yummy glossy accents.
Be sure to check out all of the other DT members projects for more great inspiration. Also, you'll want to link up your Mother's Day projects HERE for a chance to win an awesome prize from My Craft Spot.

I have been super busy with graduation planning (for Maddie) and I am working on a post with an update on my progress. :) Have a great week!

Tiny Tags

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! :) Now, during the stamp release party last week I missed the *Tiny Tags* release day, so today I am sharing my project. I've been busy getting ready for my oldest daughter, Madeline's, graduation. I wanted to make some graduation gift/money holders for some of her dear friends.
I made candy bouquets. I am totally happy with
how these turned out. First, I started out with
Maddie's high school colors, green and blue. I
made a pocket/holder out of the blue and white
*bigger bitty bags* I folded the bag in half
and then stitched the sides together with my sewing machine.

I filled it with candies that color coordinate. I also
included a picture of Maddie, so she could write a message on the
back for her friend. These pockets hold A LOT.
The cap is from the Wrap It Up cartridge on pg. 67
cut at 1.90". The award is from the Plantin Schoolhouse
cartridge on pg. 77 cut at 1.75"(roly poly). The inner circle is from PS

cartridge on pg. 72 cut at 1".The *wishing you luck!
is from the *Tiny Tags* stamp set by My Craft Spot. I added
some diamond glaze to the numbers and tassel. I

needed a simple design that I could easily recreate.
I made a pocket to hold a money gift. I used
the stars from the *Merry Christmas* stamp
set by My Craft Spot. *Celebrate* is from the

Celebrations cartridge cut at 3.55Wx1.50H. I sized
the cut with my Gypsy.
*Way to go Graduate* another great sentiment from *Tiny Tags* set.
I tied the tag on with *pea pod* twine. It's always fun to personalize

with a name.

Is any candy bouquet complete without a chocolate
mustache?
I have a special graduation post coming soon. I would love to hear any suggestions. :)

Bunny Handprint

Hi everyone! I've been busy finishing up Easter goodies for the girls. Megan and Sammy made Easter cards that I thought I would share. I will be doing handprint cards from now on for each holiday. I forgot how cute they look. Sammy will have fun passing out her cards at Easter brunch. So cute!
I stamped the outside and inside of the card with sentiments from the
*Happy Easter* set by My Craft Spot. I added some
*strawberry cupcake* twine. The card is an A2 sized
card.

To finish the face, Megan used a black
sharpie pen.
Hey, have you had a chance to check out the adorable makeover at My Craft Spot's blog? It's super cute and to celebrate, Kimberly is giving away an awesome prize...4 stamps sets (insert needle ripping across a vinyl record sound)...Yup, you read correctly, 4 stamp sets! Check out the excitement HERE! I'm off to finish up last minute Easter ideas. I wish you all a beautiful, happy, relaxing Easter weekend.
