Challenge #131- Thank You Cards/Gifts

Hello! Welcome to another My Craft Spot's Monday Challenge. This week the challenge is *Thank you cards/gifts. I Think a set of thank you cards make a wonderful gift. I made a set of cards for my Aunt, based on the card I created for this challenge.
Here is my card:
*Thank You* is from the Tickets stamp set by My Craft Spot. I love the sentiment embossed in gold-so pretty. I used a Ribbon Banners metal die by My Craft Spot for the sentiment. The main flower base layer was cut with the new Scrapping Life Cards metal dies set. The cream layer under my flower is just a 2x2" piece of cardstock with the corners rounded.
The flower is from the Flower Assortments cutting file by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I love this assortment pack. Lots of options! I used Flower 9 for my card.:)

I hope you like today's card and will join in the fun with this week's Thank you* challenge at My Craft Spot blog.

Get Whale Soon

Hello! Today is my day to post over at My Craft Spot.Yay! One of my favorite tools to play with are the new Fancy Edges metal dies set. I do love them all, but for today's card I used the scalloped edge metal die--turned upside down it looks likes water waves.
Look at all of those awesome waves. :) The waves were cut with the Fancy Edges metal dies set. *Get Whale Soon!* is from the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set. Of course I had to add some Caribbean sequins to finish my card.
The tag was cut with the Tiny Tags metal dies set. I tied my tag on with some Berry Red bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week. :)

My Craft Spot Release Party Day #2-Jar Full Of Christmas

Hi everyone! Welcome to day two of the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party. Today we are sharing sneak peeks of the new stamp set Jar Full Of Christmas. Robin designed a darling stamp set that coordinates with the Jar Basics metal dies by My Craft Spot. Here is my project:
I made a banner using the Jar Basics metal dies. I decorated the banner with the new Jar Full Of Christmas stamp set. The snowflakes are cut using the Small Alphabet metal dies.
The *Let it Snow* sentiment is from the new Christmas Banner Sentiments stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on a banner from the new Ribbon Banners metal dies set.
The letters are from the George & Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge cut at 1.75".
It's hard to tell in the picture, but I added some Stickles to the edge of the snow along the bottom. Just the extra touch the snow needed to help it *pop*.
I made hinges with washi tape to hold the banner together. The great thing about using washi tape is it stays flexible, so you can easily set the banner up how you like--back and forth accordion style or with a soft wave. I love this banner. Perfect for a mantel, hutch, or table. There are SO many possibilities with this project idea. TIP: the background paper was a little thin, so I added an extra layer of cardstock for stability.
That's it for today my crafty friends. :) Be sure to check out all of the other projects made by My Craft Spot's design team. Also, you'll want to leave a comment over at My Craft Spot's blog for a chance to win todays party prize.

My Craft Spot Release Party Day #1-Christmas Banner Sentiments & Ribbon Banners Metal Dies

Hi everyone! Today is the first day of My Craft Spot's newest stamp release party!!!! We are all so excited to share sneak peeks of the new stamp set Christmas Banner Sentiments. Several cute sentiments--perfect for all of your holiday projects.Design team member, Robin, designed the new Ribbon Banner Metal Dies set-- a straight set and an arched set. The metal dies are awesome, and always so fun to use! Here is my project for today:
I stamped *Let it Snow* with My Craft Spot's Christmas Banner Sentiments. The banner was cut from the Ribbon Banners metal dies set-straight. I cut the snowman from the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge at 3.75. I used the blackout feature so I could stamp a cute Peachy Keen face. I used the PK520 Winter Face Assortment.
The banner was cut from the Ribbon Banners metal dies set-straight. The metal dies even leaves score lines on the banner for easy folding. Once folded, I used mini glue dots to help the banner keep it's shape.
Some glossy accents and a few enamel dots and my card was done. :) Super easy and cute!
That's it for today my friends. Make sure to check out all of the other design team projects--really cute ideas! Also, head over to My Craft Spot blog and leave a comment to win today's prize. :)

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party Day #3- Ornate Labels-Halloween, Stamps, and Metal Dies

Hi everyone! Welcome back to day #3 of My Craft Spot's Stamp Release Party. Today we are sharing sneak peeks of  *Ornate Labels-Halloween, Stamp Set, and Metal Dies*. My friend Kirstin Davies shared the cutest treat holder, I recreated it, and decorated it with the new Ornate Labels- Halloween stamp set and metal dies.

*Happy Halloween* is from the new Ornate Labels- Halloween stamp set by My Craft Spot. I love the font Robin used for the different sentiments on this stamp set. For the main tag on the front I cut a doily using the 4" Doily metal die by My Craft Spot. After cutting out the doily I trimmed down the size to fit well with the Tiny Doilies metal dies. I stamped the crow with another stamp from the Ornate Labels-Halloween stamp set.

I tied some smokey black crinkle ribbon at the top of my treat holder-kinda reminded me of bats. The treat holder holds a note on one side and candy on the other side.

For the tag on this side of the treat holder, I used the new Ornate Labels Metal Dies to cut out my stamped sentiment and frame. You love the font--don't you. :)

I'll try to make another treat holder with step-by-step directions soon so you can make one of your own.

I hope you liked today's project. Make sure to check out all of the other design team members posts for this weeks release party--awesome projects!!
