My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party Day #2- A Jar Full Of Halloween

Welcome back to day #2 of My Craft Spot's New Stamp Release Party. Today we will be sharing sneak peeks of the new stamp set *A Jar Full Of Halloween*. Really cute stuff!!

I used the new Jar Basics metal dies to cut some parchment paper to make a candy holder. I actually cut the top layer out of parchment paper, I stamped the jar with Memento ink--for a line to follow with my sewing machine.

I sprinkled trick-or-treat sequins across the top of my card. Love! The spider on my tag is from the new *Jar Full Of Halloween* stamp set. The actual tag was cut from the Tiny Tags metal dies set.

I cut the doily from the 4" Doily metal die by My Craft Spot.

I was having so much fun with this stamp set I decided to make another card. :) I bet this little froggy is excited to be getting out of that jar. I picture him saying AAAHHH!!! The *Happy Halloween* was stamped using the *Jar Full Of Halloween*. I added some toadally green sequins.

I stamped the inside with more stamps from the *Jar Full Of Halloween* stamp set. *Yikes* perfect sentiment for a frog stuck in a jar.:)

My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party Day #1- Jar Basics, Stamps, and Metal Dies

Hi everyone and welcome to day #1 of My Craft Spot's New Stamp Release Party. Today we are sharing sneak peeks of the darling Jar Basics stamp set and coordinating Metal Dies set. I was so excited when I saw this set. I love vintage Ball jars, and now I can decorate my cards with them. :)

I cut a layer of acetate with the new Jar basics Metal Dies, so my jar would look more like a *real* jar. I actually cut a blue layer- for a blue outline, stamped the flowered paper and then hand cut the layer, and then put the clear layer on top. Since the acetate would show any kind of glue or adhesive I stacked my layers and stapled them all together at the top and the covered my staples with the jar lid.

The cute tag was also cut using the new Jar Basics Metal Dies by My Craft Spot. The *hello* is a stamped sentiment from the Jar Basics stamp set. I tied my tag on my jar with some pink sorbet twine.

I cut the flowers out with the Tiny Alphabet Metal Dies. I added sequins to the center of the flowers with new sequins available at My Craft Spot.

I hope you liked today's card and will join me back here tomorrow for another sneak peek. Don't forget to check out the other design team member's creations. Also, be sure to leave a comment on THIS post for a chance to win:

The other BIG news at My Craft Spot is....SEQUINS!!!!! Kimberly has already started selling the sequins and they are a huge hit!!! I am so impressed with all of the different color combination packs Kimberly has available in her shop!

I love how easily sequins are to attach-I use mini glue dots, they are flatter than buttons for mailing, high quality, and are fairly small in size for storage. Honestly, I could go on and on about how awesome these sequins look and how much they will add to your projects!!!

I hope to see all of you back here Monday for 1st day of the Fall Stamp Release Party by My Craft Spot! :)

You're BERRY Sweet!

Hi everyone! Today is my day to share over at My Craft Spot blog. I wanted to make a summery card and nothing says summer more than a big bowl of tasty strawberries. :)

I cut the strawberries and bowl from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge at 3.59". I layered the bowl of berries with the 4" Doily Metal Die. I tied a cherry red traditional bakers twine bow around my bowl.
You're BERRY Sweet is from the Tasty Treats stamp set. I created the tag using the Tiny Doilies Metal Dies. I use the Tiny Doilies metal dies whenever possible. I love the fact that I always get a clean cut every time.
Now, the strawberries only come with a leaf/steam cut, so I added some blossoms using the Small Alphabet metal dies. Did you know the Small Alphabet metal dies have shapes as well? The flower shape is great for adding that something extra--like a pop of color or extra layer for dimension. Love!

I didn't have time to wait for glossy accents to dry, so I embossed the strawberries and bowl with clear embossing powder and heat, and it gave it some really cool texture and shine--with NO drying time.

I hope you all enjoyed today's card and you feel inspired to create. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Happy Birthday Card And A Giveaway For One Of You

I wanted to share a quick little birthday card I made. This week my nephew, Evan, turned five. My sister had an awesome pirate party for him. Lot's of fun!!
I used the Tiny Doilies metal dies for my tag. *Hip Hip Hooray It's Your Birthday* is from the Stampin' Around Spring stamp set by My Craft Spot. The *5* is from the Chunky Alphabet stamp set. The birthday dog is from the Birthday Bash cartridge. I stamped his face using Peachy Keen stamps.
I added some maraschino twine. Love. I used the happy Birthday embossing folder--it really added a lot. I always seem to forget about dry embossing, but love the look.
*Happy Birthday* is from the Birthday Wishes stamp set.
I'd like to giveaway a Birthday Wishes Stamp Set
And a Spring Showers cartridge
Cricut® April Showers Seasonal Cartridge
Just leave a comment on this post and I will draw a winner
