My Craft Spot Mini Release

Welcome to day one of the My Craft Spot Mini Release. Today we are sharing ideas made using the new Rolled Flowers metal dies set. The new Rolled Flowers metal dies set is now available for purchase at My Craft Spot Shop. I'm so excited Robin designed a set of metal dies to make rolled flowers-I've wanted one for awhile. :) I also love the fact that the rolled flowers come as set of two different sized flowers.

I made the beautiful flowers for this sweet baby card using the new Rolled Flowers metal dies set. The metal dies cut through the felt like butter. The flowers are just the perfect size. *SUGAR & SPICE and everything nice* is a sentiment from the New Arrival stamp set by My Craft Spot. The bow was made with some Vanilla Bean crinkle ribbon. Did you notice the pretty scalloped trim? I used the Fancy Edges metal dies two cut out the scalloped strip. 

What's a party without presents? There will be a prizes offered at My Craft Spot's blog both days. Kimberly will also be picking a winner from one of the Design Team member's blogs as well. :)

Black & White Plus One Color

Hello! I hope everyone had a great weekend! My weekend was busy, but fun. I just saw the weather report for Woodinville, WA, and the weather looks AMAZING for this upcoming week. I'll be busy getting ready for Teacher Appreciation, when I'm not out working in the yard. Since today is Monday, there is a new challenge over at My Craft Spot's blog. The challenge this week is 

*black & white plus one color*. 

Here is my card:

I went with the popular chalkboard look for the black & white. *Happiness is not a Destination It's a way of Life* is from the Chalkboard Sentiments stamp set. I added a couple of flowers from the Small Alphabet metal dies set. The shaped card was a SVG file from SVG CUTTING FILES.

Happy Birthday!

Hello! Today is my day to share over at My Craft Spot's blog. I'm sharing a couple of fun birthday card ideas. I LOVE the shaker card trend going on, and decided to give it a try using My Craft Spot stamps and metal dies.

I used the Scrapping Life Cards metal dies set for the rounded corner layer. I've had lots of fun creating cards with My Craft Spot's metal dies sets. The polaroid die is also from the Scrapping Life Cards metal dies set. I added a pinch of Tickled Pink, Caribbean, and Lemon Meringue sequins. The *Happy Birthday* sentiment is from the 

Simply Sentiments stamp set.

I changed things up with this birthday card, and went for an orange hot pink color combination. I used Tickled Pink and Orange Creamsicle sequins. I finished my card with a little twine bow.  I followed a tutorial by Nikki from Scrappin' Navy Wife's blog-HERE on how to actually go about putting the shaker card together. Both cards are A2 sized cards.

Challenge #131- Thank You Cards/Gifts

Hello! Welcome to another My Craft Spot's Monday Challenge. This week the challenge is *Thank you cards/gifts. I Think a set of thank you cards make a wonderful gift. I made a set of cards for my Aunt, based on the card I created for this challenge. 

Here is my card:

*Thank You* is from the Tickets stamp set by My Craft Spot. I love the sentiment embossed in gold-so pretty. I used a Ribbon Banners metal die by My Craft Spot for the sentiment. The main flower base layer was cut with the new Scrapping Life Cards metal dies set. The cream layer under my flower is just a 2x2" piece of cardstock with the corners rounded.

The flower is from the Flower Assortments cutting file by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I love this assortment pack. Lots of options! I used Flower 9 for my card.:)

Here is my project:

For my project I decided to make the Center Panel Step Card by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. This is the first Step card I've ever made, and it was so easy and fun to make. Springtime in Washington State, where I live, means rain. I saw the cute little lamb wearing a rain hat and I couldn't resist adding her to my card. The lamb is from the Rainy Day Critters cut file, also by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. I added a couple of little flowers from the Flowers Assortment cut file. The Flowers Assortment cut file has all of the flower cuts you'll ever need- it's AWESOME. The *April showers bring May flowers* is a sentiment from the Butterfly Kisses stamp set by My Craft Spot. The perfect sentiment for my card.

Of course I had to add some glossy accents to her hat and boots. Papers I used were from the Hello Sunshine paper pack by Lawn Fawn.
