Ruff Ruff

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been gone--Sammy has RSV(basically flu for babies) and she only wants me to hold her when she doesn't feel good. We even spent one night at the hospital because she was having trouble breathing and had such a high fever. Good news--she's feeling much better. (Phew)

I spent some time in the *creation station* last night and today I have a couple more basic cards to share. I'm still thinking of cards that will be easy for my sister to learn some techniques.
I love this little dog. This card would be a great thank you
for a pet sitter or a *just because* card for a dog lover :) I added
a basic stitch with my sewing machine around the edge and some light color

was added to the edge with some light brown chalk ink. The little
dog dish has the face as part of the cut, but if you have a Gypsy you
could *hide* the face. You might need to add the eyes in with a black

pen if they don't cut very well--pretty small.
On this little guy I rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper
and I embossed the background for a little texture with the

Spots and Dots folder and Cuttlebug. Same dog, same size,
just different techniques. Both cards will get your feet wet
as far trying these fun techniques. The cards are basic,
but if your like me, sometimes it's more about getting
some creative time, and getting a card done and sent:)

Cuts:
  • Create a Critter cartridge pg.34
  • 3"  terrier and all layers
  • 1 1/2"  phrase RUFF RUFF
  • 3/4" dog bowl
  • Standard A2 sized card-craft-PaperTrey Ink

  1. Super cute cards. Sorry to hear about your baby! RSV is no fun at all, my niece got it and has been easier exposed to bronchial colds ever since. Best of luck and hugs! Glora

  2. Oh, that is the worst when the little ones get it! I hope she is good as new by now! I've been checking out your blog today! I love your crafting style! All your cards are so much fun and I love your color/paper combos! I'm happy to be working with you on the MCS Design Team! I can't wait to see more of your creations!
