Challenge #17-Christmas In July

It's Christmas in July at My Craft Spot this Monday! The great thing about thinking about Christmas projects now, is handmade card sets are possible. I am excited to make this card into a set for my Grandma. My Grandma is from Ohio and she loves Cardinals. A Christmas card set with Cardinals is perfect. I finished one for my example, and now I just need to finish 50 more.
The vintage twine is from My Craft Spot.

Glossy accents on the berries adds a lot.
Cuts:
  • Winter Woodland cartridge pg.38
  • 1 1/2"  branch
  • WWC pg.59
  • 1 3/4" bird
  • WWC pg.63
  • 1 1/4" Season's Greetings
  • Standard A2 sized card-from PTI
I hope everyone plays along this week. It's fun and I LOVE looking at everyones projects. Of course winning YOUR color of choice is a wonderful prize and is also fun. :) Link up your card/project here. Have a great week!

  3. This is so beautiful Ally!! I'm sure your grandmother is going to be so pround to be sending these out :) I know what you mean about starting early! Last year I made over 300 cards for christmas (and only 75 were for myself)! I have to start early, or I just don't make it! These are gorgeous! The glossy accents on the berries is the perfect touch! Have a great week!
