Quick Halloween Tags

I hope everyone is enjoying their week. We've been busy with school, field trips, and halloween prep. I needed to make some tags for hostess treats. The tags were pretty quick and really fun to make. I usually try to make crafty things assembly line style while watching a movie. I added my first tag to a bag of chocolates, but I will use most of them for cookies on little black plates. Here are my tags...
I used Plantin SchoolBook cartridge for the tag
cut 4 1/4". The frames were cut from the Happy Hauntings cart
at few different sizes. The ghost frame was cut at 3 1/4", the witch
frame was cut at 3 1/4, the cat frame was cut at
3 1/4", and the vampire is cut at 3". The *B00* *EEK*
*Spooky**Beware!* and *Happy Halloween* sentiments
are from the Happy Hauntings set by My Craft Spot.
I added glossy accents to all of the silhouettes. I inked the tags
up a little with black ink. My favorite tags is the one with the red
vampire and the drippy red *Happy Halloween*. I really love this stamp set.
The best part about making tags is using scraps. Tip: I usually set my
pressure and blade on medium with the multi cut on. Using the multi cut
really helps cut all of the little pieces on the frame. Anther tip: if you
have a Gypsy *hide* the hole at the top if you want to use an eyelet. The
hole the machine will automatically cut is pretty big and hard to center an eyelet.
I still have a couple more treatsters to share tomorrow. :)

  1. OMG! These are SOOOOOO cool! They would make fantastic bottle labels too! Kinda that whole apothecary thing. Awesome!
