Monday Challenge #67-Splishy Splashy Summer

Hi everyone! Welcome back! I hope ALL of you are still enjoying summer. We have been busy getting  Maddie ready for college. Maddie moves into her dorm next week and then classes start the following Monday. It's been sort of an emotional week-a few tears. She's our first little bird to leave the nest--we are SO proud of our Maddie. :)

 Today is Monday and that means it's challenge time at the My Craft Spot blog. Today's challenge is all about splashy splashy summer. 
I chose to make another "Samantha" card.
Samantha the mermaid. The *Happy Birthday*
sentiment is from the Birthday Wishes stamp set.
I cut the mermaid from the *Once upon a princess*
cartridge cut at 3.25"
The *Wish Big* is from the Tiny Tags stamp
set by My Craft Spot.
I framed the sentiment with some small pearls.

    Oh your little mermaid is adorable. I love the sparkly paper you used and the scene is super fun! Great card!
    Wishing your daughter the best on her new journey. It takes a little time to adjust. Some advise...try and stay busy. Craft, shop, visit with friends and spend extra time with family. It really helps to stay busy. Before you know it she will be home on break. Hang in there:)

    This really is just adorable! I love that fish background! My only son left for college a week and a half ago. I am still in shock! It was hard when we first left him, lots of tears for the next two days. But now it's getting better, so good luck to you and your Maddie!
