My Craft Spot Release Party Day #1-Christmas Banner Sentiments & Ribbon Banners Metal Dies

Hi everyone! Today is the first day of My Craft Spot's newest stamp release party!!!! We are all so excited to share sneak peeks of the new stamp set Christmas Banner Sentiments. Several cute sentiments--perfect for all of your holiday projects.Design team member, Robin, designed the new Ribbon Banner Metal Dies set-- a straight set and an arched set. The metal dies are awesome, and always so fun to use! Here is my project for today:
I stamped *Let it Snow* with My Craft Spot's Christmas Banner Sentiments. The banner was cut from the Ribbon Banners metal dies set-straight. I cut the snowman from the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge at 3.75. I used the blackout feature so I could stamp a cute Peachy Keen face. I used the PK520 Winter Face Assortment.
The banner was cut from the Ribbon Banners metal dies set-straight. The metal dies even leaves score lines on the banner for easy folding. Once folded, I used mini glue dots to help the banner keep it's shape.
Some glossy accents and a few enamel dots and my card was done. :) Super easy and cute!
That's it for today my friends. Make sure to check out all of the other design team projects--really cute ideas! Also, head over to My Craft Spot blog and leave a comment to win today's prize. :)

  6. Ally ~ as always, your card ROCKS!! I have a quick question for you!! I have the Christmas Cheer cartridge but not a Gypsy. If I cut the snowman out in black out as you did (so that I can stamp my own face) ... how do I size and cut the scarf and other accessories so that they fit? I've been following your blog for quite sometime, and I noticed that you've made other cuts hiding the face without using a Gypsy. Are there any tips you can share, so I can do this too?

Thank you for the ongoing inspiration and for any help you can provide.

    1. I cut the snowman from the Christmas Cheer cartridge on page 122 in the handbook. If you use the blackout feature the blackout accessories will be the exact same size. I cut my snowman at 3 3/4". I cut the accessories at the same size. If you look at the blackout box in the handbook--there is a snowman (in green) and the accessories (in pink). Select the blackout feature on the keypad for the snowman and then select blackout plus shift and you'll get the accessories. I did hand cut the nose off of the snowman since the nose comes with the Peachy Faces. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you still need help and I can add more details. Hugs-Ally
