You've Got Mail

I've started a little countdown to Valentines Day. Remember the mailboxes I bought a couple of weeks ago, well I haven't decorated them yet (picture a sad face), but I am still going to use the mailboxes for the little *treatsters* I'll have waiting for the girls, when they get home form school.  Basically, I'll be making the same postage stamp style card for all of my valentines.
Aren't they cute!! I added some stickles, doodling, and I used my
Everyday Character Faces by Peachy Keen Stamps. It was my first time
ever using the face stamps, and I really like how they turned out.
I cut the same size white layer for the backside
to write a personal message. The card base is from the

Birthday Card cartridge. I simply cut the card in half.
Recipe:
  • My Pink Stamper Lovealicious
  • Create a Critter cartridge
  • Birthday Bash cartridge
  • AC cardstock
  • Glossy accents
  • Chalk for face
  • Momento black ink
  • White Signo pen
  • Scotch Quick Dry glue
  • Stampin Up Pop Dots
Cuts:
  • Birthday Bash cartridge pg.31
  • 4" card & tag stamp base and white layer
  • Create a Critter cartridge pg.68
  • 1 3/4" shift bee and layers (used Gypsy to *hide*face)
  • 2 1/4" accessory hive
  • CAC cart pg.66
  • 1/2" layer shift heart (used Gypsy to *hide* face)
Peachy Keen stamps are easy to use, there are just a few tips to follow to help achieve a clean stamped image. The stamps do come with recommendations on the packaging, which makes it easy. I used Momento black ink, so the white Signo pen wouldn't smudge my face image. Light pressure when inking and stamping is also recommended. I used a black Micron pen to *fix* any area that I may have covered with the white Signo pen, while coloring in the eyes white. The pens, stamps, and stamp pads can all be found on the Peachy Keen website. Honestly, I am super excited to use these stamps on all of my projects, they really increased the *cute factor*. :)

Make it a great one!!
